The saga continues

R. Linda:

I be so wiped out I cannot tell you. At least the freezer business is out of the way. Of course, now Ali swears I should examine the floorboards in the apartment because she's sure O'Malley is under them. GOD.

I did get to the freezer this morning and no blood. I know, I be anal. It was a good thing there was nothing, I really didn't want to lean in that stinky thing and clean up dried blood. I must say me heart was racing as I did me snooping. I've had enough. Tonya must have gone to work because I had not seen her, and Ali woke up a few minutes ago because she came over to ask me if our early morning romp was a dream or real.

I said I was done, and that's when she offered this new theory of hers. I cut her short because I didn't know if Flanagan was in his room or gone. I think he's still here because I didn't sleep a wink and after me few minutes of running to the cellar, I don't think he left. I hushed her the best I could and closed us out in the hall. I felt like he had an ear to the door and I couldn't quiet her loud voice with her latest accusation.

I finally put me hand over her mouth, grabbed her up and physically carried her kicking at me to her door, where I deposited her on the other side and closed us in. Once she stopped cursing at me she listened to me assumption he was still there and she got all concerned he'd heard her and would be over tonight to end her. Oi!

When I went to leave she wouldn't let my arm go, trying to pull me further into the apartment. I've been here ever since because she's frightened. That's what a hangover and restless sleep will do. Oh, and she's had another nosebleed. She really has to stop this before she ends up drained of her own blood and me institutionalised.

I am going over to me place in a few, to see if Flanagan is up and about. I thought to try a conversation of sorts as a way of finding out what he does and where he's been for the past few days. I thought if it goes well, I'll bring the matter of O'Malley up and see what he has to say. Do I have a death wish? No, I be curious Irish.

More later,

Gabe
