The Tex/Mex Party

What is a comal please? Is that a griddle? I be sure if I get into the art of Mexican cookery, I can find one at the local Mexican pots and pan store. I do believe that is located on Revere Street and the name is Gringos Piense Ellos Lata Cocer Mexicano. ;)~ - translation for none Spanish speaking readers: Gringos Piense Ellos Lata Cocer Mexicano = Foreigners think they can cook Mexican

Me dish tonight, thanks to your suggestion of chicken, is going to be the three cheese, chicken, green chili quesadillas with salsa (Alison's Russian/Mexican recipe - I don't know what happened to the Tex it was replaced by Russian) and sour cream on the side. Before you put your finger down your throat, let me try it and let you know if it be worth the effort.

That is tonight, the party that is. And I wish it were tomorrow night instead, but for some unknown reason Alison set it for tonight. I will mention this, that when you walk into this building and pass some of the apartment doors, you can smell chili cooking. I feel like I live over a Mexican restaurant, everyone is experimenting. For some reason the building is into the theme party stuff. I can only hope I be out of town when they get around to an evening of Russian cuisine, because the memories of the Pee Cat Palace would make me spit hair balls.

This evening will either be a glorious gluttony of a feast, or the worse case of gas (probably with all those bean recipes), that we will leave either happy shouting, "Caramba! Este manjar es buena," (Wow, this is very good), or "Por favor agua!" (Please water!), in which case we will all be giving off enough methane to light the city of Newark, New Jersey.
