Who's Who on the Blog? Well EVERYONE!

R. Linda:

It has come to my attention that not only is this the hottest summer in England, but New England as well. I find I can get nothing done in this heat, and have lazed away it seems most of the summer. The garden which held such promise is overrun by weeds, because, 1. it rained and they grew like . . . well weeds, 2. it was too hot to weed the weeds, and 3. the lawn mower broke so no mowing in-between the beds so the weeds have overrun the garden.

In me lazing around, me Mam asked me about my blog followers. Do I know them, or do I not know them? I told her I knew a few, but not all. That got us into a conversation, what did I think of this one or that one? What were my wonderings about them? So I decided to write about the more frequent commenters just to while time and not be accused by you of not putting up a new story. Well, this isn't a new story but "musings" if you will.

I noticed Weasil has not been by this summer, probably because he is on Big Brother telling everyone his name is Tyler and doing a mean American accent to boot. I hope he stays in the house until the end, so my summer is Weasil-Free.

I also noticed the movie star, Wolfie sporadically commenting on the blog which tells me he must be away filming in Cornwall the next instalment of Poldark, but when he isn't busy playing Ross Poldark he finds time to leave a comment on the old blog. Which I appreciate because we need one person at least with perfect hair.

That other famous face, Captain Jack must be hard at work watching Johnny Depp go from a wee bit pudgy to an emaciated bald person and wondering what he should do. A quandary for sure there, Jack, LOL.

Then there be our very own Fiona, who she looks like besides an egg salad I have no clue, never seen a pic of her. I haven't heard from her since she got her chicken feathers ruffled by me in an earlier exchange between her and EVERYONE on the blog, so me punishment is that she is refraining from commenting. Probably best. Enjoy your salad while you read the blog Fifi!

I am enjoying Hughes though. He is a newbie to the blog, but always throws in a wee bit of intellect in his comments that makes the blog look somehow elevated. I appreciate that.

Then there is Tom who, (besides yourself R. Linda), is my most devoted blog commenter. He is a chivalrous one he be, and I for one enjoy his comments and feedback. I am happy that a newlywed finds the time to read the old blog and get a chuckle out of it.

Gillette comes and goes like the pixie she is. I'd love to introduce her of all me blog commenters to our Boston Patrick. I think she's the one for him and vice versa. So Gillette if you read this, let me know if you are coming to Boston from the Emerald Isle and I'll set ya up.

And Dewdropper, Fiona's nemesis it seems. She shows up for the show late but always has a lot of comparisons between her boys and mine. She reminds me of what I have to look forward to as they get older. Good to be forewarned.

Irish Rogue our resident psychiatrist (I only found out about that this year) always analysing and in some cases getting me Irish up, be another of me transient followers and THAT'S a good thing. Too much psychoanalysis and he might have me committed!

Miss Maggie comes and goes as well. She'll always be the pretty woman on the train no matter what she comments on.

My cousin Sean (me real-life cous and pain in me arse) can be the same with some of his comments. But I love him anyway, just wish he'd move out of me driveway.

I don't know the rest of the followers hardly or not at all, a couple I do, but they don't comment enough to be singled out. But last but certainly not least, you me MUSE, the source of me inspiration and too many blog stories to count! (well, we have counted 925.) This blog would not exist without you. You by far are the funniest commenter and the one who keeps me honest. When you aren't around the blog goes to cobwebs (which you then complain about). You keep me challenged more than anyone and when you aren't around I feel lost. To think I met you in a chatroom many, many moons ago, and we have always been fast and steady friends throughout the years. I hope that continues for many more to come.

I will put my musings away for a hot summer day and hope everyone be okay with what I said about them. If not, as me Muse would say, "Too bad!"
