R. Linda:
Yesterday, after an outstanding day of reporting on me part, I got home, clicked on the microwave when the phone rings, and the city desk informs me we have a terrorist nest in Wakefield, drop what I be doing and get over there. I did. Turns out to be a survivalists apartment with all the things survivalists usually rat pack. Took me three hours of asking question, getting brushed off, then getting information, and finally realising it was a bust. Not a criminal bust, a news bust. So off I go, getting in me door at 11 p.m. to find me Swanson's Hungry Man Dinner be a hard microwaved rock!
Today, our illustrious Gov has decided that the fugitive Whitey Bulger's brother James, who just happens to be a former political leader and now the President of the University of Massachusetts, shouldn't be holding that job. Begorrah me, his brother is a mob fugitive for heaven's sake alive and this gives the great State of Massachusetts a very black eye. So what does the Gov do? He tells President Bulger to step down and resign the post.
Now Mr. Bulger isn't taking kindly to this request, and being a "law abiding" citizen who has "co-operated with the authorities, and has "no idea" where his black sheep brother may be, refused.
Now the Gov was not happy with this and after repeated calls for the fugitive's brother to resign went ignored, he did the next best thing, he's now trying to eliminate the job of President of the University of Massachusetts!
I suppose if you can't get the bastard out one way, eliminating his job is the only way to go!
