R. Linda:
So there I was, mailbox put back in, lamppost up and working (and that was a bugger because I had to dig a 300-yard trench for the electricity!); so far, so good. But, the furry neighbours from the bog decided to teach me who be the boss. Down by the end of me property wall where the flasher lives, I have been covertly planting trees to cover the view, so the next time I be down that way she can't flash me into blindness. There are a few established trees, which makes me happy because, in summer, the foliage does an excellent job. But not anymore. LOOK, LOOK AT THIS, those damn beavers are taking down me trees! Not on the side where their home is, no, no, it be where I don't want a view.
