When Your Dog Does A Houdini With Your Food - Is He Pushing The Relationship?

Story #821

R. Linda:

Wolfie brought up an interesting dilemma: when you come home from a long day at the office and miraculously have the house to yourself for a few hours, You fix yourself a plate of savoury goodness and a cocktail, go out to your balcony or deck with your best friend -- your dog, sit down, and get ready to relax. Yes, indeed, this sounds like the perfect finale to a hard-working day.

Only two things happened that put a wee bit of a damper on that whole scene, like in the case of our dear friend Wolfie. His phone rings, and it's the office, and there is some crisis. He can't hear because his phone reception isn't good out in the back of his home, so he slips inside to get things straightened out, and when he comes back, he finds this has happened:

OK, where'd it all go? And that martini was full . . .

He didn't have far to look. This was sitting nearby, laughing to itself.

Yup, a drink and a few bites, thanks, Da!

But wait, it doesn't end there. Mildly annoyed, Wolfie goes back inside to make more bits of cheese and prosciutto, not to mention mix a new drink and leaves his phone. When he comes back, the phone is on the ground. He flips it on, and what comes up? THIS:

Yup, took a selfie for the doggy dating website

Sometimes a man's best friend can't be trusted. Wolfie told his dog that the selfie resembled more of a mugshot and that he was posting it on the refrigerator as a reminder to said dog that he was overdoing the best friend thing. Well done, Wolf.
